For those of you not aware, the previous 2009 standard was a significant overhaul to the 1994 standard and clarified a bunch of points that were left open to interpretation. The ASME Y14.5 2018 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standard is relatively hot off the presses, and it is great to see a new update to one of the most widely used documents in the mechanical engineering industry.
